1. What is file sharing? File sharing has been an important and very useful feature in new media technology. It allows us to transfer files between computers in a very fast and swift manner. It saves a lot of time and certainly proved to be very efficient in every professional or educational fields. Sharing photos, documents, or any other kind of data is super convenient. For instance, on a daily basis, I share pictures with my family or friends through AirDrop which lets us transfer files between our phones or even from phone to computer within seconds even if the file is over 300 megabytes. Very interesting research proposal. Two ideas immediately shot to my mind when I read this. You can focus your paper on 2 different things. Firstly, you might want to focus on the advantages and disadvantages of electronic literature as it relates to education. Or you can research how electronic literature is capturing the market of traditional literature as it relates to business.
ReplyDeleteFirst thing that pops to my mind when reading about your topic is the reality of technology taking over more and more of our lives everyday. I'll have to admit I'm not a fan of eBooks. Occasionally I'm forced to buy certain literature in electronic form due to it either being more affordable then a hard copy or the ease of access. But if I have the opportunity, I always go for a hard copy. It seems that technology, referring to phones/tablets, seem to be wiping away or taking over a lot of what we use little by little. Many of us miss our local Barnes and Nobles which have shut down due to electronic literature. Where do you stand on these outcomes of electronic literature? Do you still prefer hardcopies? Do you print out a hard copy of certain sections out of a textbook when you really need to study it thoroughly? Will authors continue to write literature if they are not making enough money due to not selling enough since electronic literature is replicated and released to the open market so easily. just some thoughts. I remember when Harry potter first came out and the shelves cleared the same day. You couldn't get a new release without it being on preorder. Especially if you wanted a hardcover. I still have my collection I look back to time and time over. It's a shame the excitement about literature and hardcopies does not exist anymore.
